candidate statement - Erik Lutz for Congress

"America is entering a time when business as usual in Washington will no longer work. Families across our district feel it every day—rising grocery bills, higher housing costs, and the growing pressure of simply trying to live and build a future. The next generation of leadership must focus on practical solutions that bring results, not political division.

My approach is simple: bring people to the table who normally do not see eye to eye and work together to lower the cost of living for everyday Americans. Whether you are conservative, liberal, or independent, we all want safe communities, opportunity for our children, and an economy that allows families to thrive. I believe leadership means listening, finding common ground, and building policies that move our country forward.

I strongly support economic growth, responsible government spending, and strong communities. At the same time, I believe deeply in individual rights, respect for women, and the dignity of every person. Our nation is strongest when freedom and opportunity are protected for all.

In Congress, I will focus on bringing uninterrupted resources and investment into to our district—supporting infrastructure, strengthening local businesses, support our labor groups, improving water reliability, and creating conditions that lower the cost of goods and services.
